Gday mate, hope you had a good Christmas, cold & wet was it?? .... Im in Sydney for 2 weeks, Summer here is a joke wet & tops of 25 if that. Im now working up in WA past Karratha on a Rio Tinto port facility, building the camp for people tp live in, bloody hot but good $$$$ probably do try do this work for the next 2 yrs. So hows it going there in Brighton?? Hope your well & alls good mate.

Yer i thought id see how the other half live. Cold & ****ty here mate coldest May in 40yrs, nothing like the winter you guys had though. No rain thats unlike old blighty, summer in the UK is a lot of fun though. Hope you get some rain then. Otherwise all is good here mate, im looking at getting work on the mines in WA the $$$ there paying cant be knocked back, doing a plastic pipe welding course next week so then i can get involved with all the water removal of the sites. See how it all goes.

Lo there ! - cold ? cold ? Its freezing ! Swap for your weather anytime ! Had 17cm of snow during the week and its all but gone now after overnight rain. Its now colder than a witches t*t, and frosty as. The vehicles outside are covered in about an inch of the stuff and its only half 8 at night here. Ashes ? - dont worry, we will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet. We always get caught after getting too big for out boots. Win hard, loose easy, thats us ! Hope all is well with you in that warm sunny place with hairy things wot bite ( bloody good fishing though ). You got anything good planned ? cheers ! oldsoak
Hey Oldsoak, Hows things in the cold?? cant believe how bad the cold weather your getting, hope your staying warm & have a good supply of beer. Hey Bushy - all good here, we've had a bit of sh*t weather recently - snow and rain and all the good stuff that makes you wonder why global warming would be a bad thing ! Sorry to hear that you got the kiss off at work, but glad to hear you are back on the tools as thats at least something. Other than that, nothing new over here. Lokks like I might get a short trip out to the Southern hemisphere in may time - which will be bloody brill although its your winter down there. flights will be a bit cheaper though - cost nearly a grand UK to send the missus over to see her folks a few weeks back - I cant afford to do that too often, or at least as much as I'd like :lol: Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with some the old bastards I know and get a bit of bream fishing in - if the season allows !
