WOW congratulations Bridget!!! http://www.petesbears.com/static/images/product/congratulations.l.jpg Well done i hope you get a good bump in pay! :O) Going out to celebrate? Tell me how your first day at gym goes!! :OD Im feeling pumped up and cocky might go force myself through 50 ring dips.....(aint done any in ages its gonna hurt ;0) Bah finished off my 80 pullups with 20 L-hang pullups ;0) Ive also been working negatives of single arm pullups (jump into postion and try to lower myself slowly - comes off as a fast uncontrolled decent atm lol). But at this rate i think i might get my 1 armed pullup 2009 (maybe maybe for xmas). Ring dips tommorrow!
Thanks for the vid link! I found this one the other day..Good stuff:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am0T_yUGjRw P.s. I graduated Medic school on Wednesday..so now its time to get my butt in gear at the CF gym..
Nice clip applicable to your training - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yCj5Zi-y6Bw&feature=related On the negative phase of a exercise more muscles are recruited. So on say a pullup get to the top and try to lower yourself unsupported....
After living in FL for 30 years, it kinda loses its charm:) We climbed 'Bald Mountain' up in the Adirondack mountains, not sure how high it is, but it was a beautiful view once you get to the top. That was the highlight of the vacation, we didnt do much else except drink beer..but that was fine with me! My freind should be sending me the pics soon. And I love all the links you send me, keep em' coming!
LOL if i was "heading for Florida" i would be a damn sight more pleased... Dont you know must of the world considers it a holiday destination :D What was your mountain called and how high? Sounds like a fine holdiay Bridge - what else you do? And PICS! ;O) PS dont sweat on getting back immediate like on any clips i post or what not - ill load your page up with stuff which i think might be useful/inspirational.....browse it (or tell meh to stop - i can and do waffle or for hours! ;O) at your leisure :O)
