Yeah honestly I think they should let the economy get back in its feet. We're trying to develop new 5th generation fighters while our current ones are more than adequate right now, it's not like we're struggling to maintain air superiority. Also, I edited the message about that kid because I hit submit too early, go read it again if you want.
I like the idea of the F35 alot, but with the economy I don't think the current situation calls for the numbers at the price its at right now. Gorgeous, and brilliant plane though. I hope the final product is as great of a AF craft as the F22 is a Fighter
My favorite plane comparison is this turd at school who has the biggest ***** ever for the F-16, F-15SE and the F-22, and constantly claims they are better than the F-35 (I'm trying to fly one in the USMC). He also claims that any plane with a small wingspan sucks (fun fact- F-35 wingspan is larger than the F-16's). Besides, comparing the F-35 to the F-22 is like comparing apples to oranges. Two different planes with different roles.
