The victim will undergo another surgery next week and might be released from hospital afterwards. No arraignment hearing has been set yet. Other than that, only some third tier politicians showed up to criticize the public's reaction (regarding the nationality of the assailants).

Hey there, I didn't forget to look into it. Sadly it seems that no charity can be set up as the victim's family explicitely asked not to be approached about her fate anymore.
That's actually a noble idea. Under German laws it could be somewhat difficult (the victim's identity must not be disclosed) but I'll look into it.
Any chance of you German guys setting up a charity for that young girl that was attacked? I'm almost in tears of pathetic rage but instead of indulging myself maybe I could so something useful? I would throw a few euro's in the pot via paypal.
