Reports-Substanciations-NonSRM-Mods FAA Approvals: 8110-3s, STCs, EOs

The New Zealand Defence Force's new combat uniforms and weapons are being put to the test in a four-day urban warfare exercise.
Soldiers are trying out the new multi-terrain camouflage uniforms, and using recently purchased light support machine guns, while testing urban combat tactics at Rotorua's Army's combat school. The new weapon gives soldiers a higher level of capability and replaces the old 5.56mm C9 light machine gun.

The army has 600 of the new guns, at around $15,000 per weapon, and a total budget of $16 million.

New technology in fabric, design and camouflage gives soldiers a new level of comfort and protection in the field and will be rolled out to all army personnel.

The new camouflage pattern is for use across a number of environments and is made from a layered system, 70 per cent constructed in New Zealand. The combat school prepares the army's infantry and armoured corps personnel with the leadership skills, tactics, techniques and procedures to command military platoons in combat.

*‘Greenside’ Ospreys arrive at HMX-1 for White House support*
MAY 6TH, 2013 | BATTLE RATTLE | POSTED BY JAMES SANBORN

Photos are emerging of new, slick green MV-22 Ospreys, now assigned to Marine Corps Helicopter Squadron One for presidential support.
We first reported on the Osprey makeover in August 2011, after a solicitation for an Osprey VIP kit emerged. The aircraft is now finally part of the unit’s inventory and was welcomed at a May 4 introduction ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., where the unit is based.
HMX-1, the unit that mans the president’s Marine One helicopter, will use the aircraft for so-called “greenside” missions. They will support White House travels by shuttling essential equipment, personnel and even VIPs, although the aircraft are unlikely to transport the president himself. He only rides on one of two custom-designed helicopter models — the older Sikorsky VH-3D and the newer VH-60N, a modified Black Hawk.

The new HMX-1 Osprey will replace the medium-lift capability provided by the CH-46 Sea Knight – better known as the PHROG – which has been in service since the early ‘60s. In addition to the spit and polished green paint job, the VIP kits include black carpets, the HMX-1 logo emblazoned on the tail ramp, seat covers and walls and ceilings that hide the tangle of wires and hydraulic lines inside the cabin.

Czech company ERA Pardubice (former Tesla Pardubice), producer of famous passive locators Ramona, Tamara and Věra, announced new passive locator Tichý strážce (Silent Guard). Ramona, Tamara and Věra are famous for capability to detect any flying objects including stealth aircraft. Those passive locators don´t emit any electromagnetic wave or impulses, just they detect electromagnetic impulse emitted by targets. And that´s the point, Tamara or Věra can detect any stealth aircraft only in one condition, the aircraft must emit some impulses (the radar must be switch on, pilot must communicate with radiostation, aircraft must use own guide or targeting systems etc. So legends about Tamara´s and Věra´s capability are little bit exaggerated.

But new locator Tichý strážce in fact brings the end of stealth technology and stealth supermodern aircrafts have real trouble. Tichý strážce in fact is same passive locator type like Věra, so it is not emit any electromagnetic waves or impulses, but even more it need not any impulses from flying targets to detect them. Tichý strážce just uses any normal public civil digital or analog radio and TV broadcasting for detection any flying objects including stealth planes and drones!!!!

And even more, if there are all broadcasting transmitters are switched off in the tracking area of the Tichý strážce, it can be add with own special but independent electromagnetic waves transmitters… And it is really very very small. Stealth shape aircraft's era is ending... despite it has not started fully actually. Czech Army has tested Tichý strážce with Věra-NG together last month during military exercise and has serious interest to purchase that.

I thought this may be of interest to someone.
I have recently began to spend time in my local churchyard (its very peaceful and right now I need as much of that as I can get).
I decided I would begin to document the military graves there - mainly ww1 - and came across this grave today whilst walking in the rain.

It is the final resting place of three Serbian soldiers from World War One.

The inscription reads:

---Quote---
Private
Marko Drljacha
Serbian Army
6th July 1918

Private
Nikola Romanitch
Serbian Army
8th July 1918

Private
Rade Fishekov
Serbian Army
11th October 1918

Since the church is Walker Parish Church , in a suburb of Newcastle upon Tyne,
North East England, they are a long way from home .

I have no idea how these fellows ended up here, but I will see what I can find out.
