nore, have I Rynn... ............................ I'm kinda ashamed to say that I've had a brief affair with core music mainly In Flames, As I lay Dying, and yes Killswitch Engage also Lamb of God, which has been described by 'Metal Encyclopedia' as "Groove Metalcore" >:(
Rudolph: Ah come on. I really dont want to argue here in this group. I kinda like In Flames, but their are not real metal ;)
KSE is definitely melodic metalcore. I was talking about In Flames, especially the older stuff is much more metal than KSE and the newer "soft" melodic stuff.
Hey has anyone here heard of a band called "ulrey", or "ulgry" I forgot how its spelled, but in Norwigen it meens "wolf"
my poor norwegian skill says that wolf is "ulv"
ahh, got it, it's "ulver". they played Black Metal from 93'-96'. But from 96' on they switched over to a ambience kinda electronica kinda metal. all in all from what I hear of them its really...progressive for a lack of a better word.
So is this group dead or what?
Dead? No, death maybe :P
what kind? thrash, I hope.
**** yeah Thrash!!! \MM/ ............... btw, what is it that defines "Power" metal? my favorite band, Iced Earth, falls in the catagory of thrash/power metal and I have no Idea why?
