Just saw a Metallica documentation on TV today morning and lent two CDs from the city library. Great music.

I got too much stuff to list as favorite... the stuff i listen to more often than anything else in no specfic order, by band names Symphony X Blind Guardian Demons&Wizards Iced Earth (Barlowe stuff, cant stand that moron Owens) Hammerfall Nightwish Tarja Running Wild Dimmu Borgir Finntroll Einherjer Ayreon Judas Priest (Halford stuff... Owens sucks) hardly a full list... and yes i have a friggin huge collection (some of it went with me to a few countries over the years) that i was ripping to my harddrive lately... almost 50 gigs of stuff and im not done yet...
I couldn't agree with you more Flint, on Owens... the only album I tolerate him in is Iced Earth "Glorious Burdon" on a side note, you like Blind Guardian? I have been eying this one album of theirs..."Night at the Opera"...would you recommend it?

Khalifah88 I hated Glorious Burden, and i hated it because of Owens... it could be so much better if Barlowe would have sang... Night at the Opera is good, but a little off their style, its more orchestral and more multiple crossed over singing than their usual style... its number three in my BG favorite albums list, the first being Nightfall in Middleearth, then sharing the second place (i just cant decide which one i like more) Imaginations From The Other Side and A Twist in The Myth.
hehe... Some Kind of Monster is Metallica at their worst. They should be embarassed for allowing that to be released. The site at Mission:Metallica is pretty cool though. The short clips of the new **** sounds pretty god - it actually sounds like Metallica again ! http://www.missionmetallica.com/
