Hello, Welshmann! Thank you for the comments, regarding my British medal collection! The medal you were asking about is the Khadive Star, awarded to British troops who served in Egypt between 1882-1891. I was lucky to have been able to purchase most of my Victorian campaign medals before they became so outrageously expensive. There's no way I would be able to afford them at today's prices. My one regret was not getting an Indian Mutiny campaign medal with bar "Relief of Lucknow" awarded to a member of the Royal Welch Fusiliers (my favorite regiment), back in 2000, when I had the money and it was for sale by a dealer in Canada.
