I don't know what you are talking about but the globe is flat.
Thanks, it could have been worse. How are you doing? SHerm...
It's possible. You could be a savant of some sort...
Why the sad face?
Wow, can't remember this, was the federation really on the brink of a total collapse? This is actually one positive aspect of "Voyager" imho: This sometimes raw, pessimistic atmosphere. But not enough dark for me ;-)
Hmm, maybe it was too long ago when i watched DS9 or i indeed missed the later episodes. I remember that small agile battleship (or more destroyer) which was quite interesting. I still would have wanted to see a darker, dirty, sometimes pessimistic serie. Like this: It begins with the star fleet / planets federation quickly being taken apart and almost destroyed by an unknown (making it more and more clear over the seasons) mighty enemy. The remaining units / ships / outposts trying to survive, to get into contact with each other in a vast universe, trying to understand what happened. The serie could follow different groups / ships on their way into the future, building up a familyrization over the episodes / seasons. Struggling for their existence, questioning the once high-held moral / ehtic standards of the star fleet while being confronted with a harsh reality...Mucho potential imho for a real classic. What do you think?
DS9 had some nice ideas, but some details simply took me away from the serie. Like those uber-gay Bajorans. I mean wtf? I have to admit that i always hoped for the Cardassians to finally stomp out this piss-poor copy of the WW2-Resistance. Plus the Cardassians had awesome necks. I still hink that one new concept in the Star Trek-universe would have been nice - a dark, brutal serie without optimism. Something like "Star Trek Voyager" meets "Apocalypse Now".
Ha! Good to hear that you are back. Star Trek? The last Star Trek stuff i've seen on TV was DS9. Since i already knew the episodes, and let's be honest, most of them are boring as ****, i rather watched old "Baywatch"-episodes. Can't believe that there was once a time when i fell in love with Erika Eleniak.
I'm sorry, didn't mean it, I don't know any better. I'm from Royston Vasey. (Please tell me you're familiar with the reference). Otherwise... meh :(
Welcome back and it can get a bit thuggish here with the mods at time.
