"Those are just terms of endearment between them" Haha, you made me laugh for real there. :)
lol I obviously wasn't observant!
Hi hollis. I was only asking where you were yesterday, good to see you back. But having said that you probably were not gone.
Oh boy, for a moment there the forum software was broken and displaying your avatar and name with tokengator's post. Gave me the creeps.
I saw you...you had one glove pulled off, and then he ran away. Cheers.
Considering what all of them are and had to live through them growing up between two cultures. What I'm saying is that this country, all of it, from Atlantic to Pacific is my homeland and it's extremely hard to fathom why a person whose roots are here would up and leave to serve elsewhere and remain a citizen of this place. I am free, you're free, they're free: therefore they can choose to what they will, doesn't make it any less strange to me.
So then is my homeland Israel since that is supposed to be the birthplace of Christianity, or is it the Vatican since I am a Catholic? My home, where my roots are...is not some place I've never been. Ma Patrie c'est Californie. I don't question those that stay here and prove their loyalty in fact I don't think it's a question for them, it is a question for those who have been here for generations that just pick up and go off to Israel. That's just my perspective, I have nothing against them, I just thought I'd share that he wasn't being racist. Again, opinions are like elbows everyone has two.
It's my opinion that the one poster was just making a statement of fact and was not being racist. Although not true for every case it has still been true for many.
Reading the Hagel confirmation thread...actually the evidence was there, Oren was born here, he was an American, not an Israeli. He chose of his own volition to go to Israeli, he should have given up his citizenship in 1979 based on the fact he continued to serve in the IDF. Also I know not of any Greeks that leave the US in droves to join the Greek Army or just to return to Greece. They just remain a clique, yet a lot of American Jews tend to go over...not all, but enough. Not that I don't like Israeli's.
Yeah I remember talking about that with you before. "yankee" is a common insult around here. "Don't want to be rude like a yankee now do you?" If you think I have a problem with yanks (hint: I don't, but it is fun ragging them :) ), my grandad really didn't like yankees. At all.....
