Hey JJ, I'm kinda saving money for an East Asia tour, and Im thinking Phillipines is on the list. What would be a/some good spot/s? Perahps with right mix of cheapness, good cheap food, nice atmosphere, etc?

Also, Im rereading sephs marriage thread, came across this:

Here the exchange students find it sometimes difficult at first to adjust to silence and lack of crowds. People from big cities with millions of people also get lost quite easily :) How are your orienteering skills, btw?

The friendly hermit of the log cabin, how does that sound? A small village in Finland would surely welcome you.

I guess you need to buy yourself a lot of land from middle of nowhere in Finland. Build a log cabin and all that, of course and go all-hermit there :D

Well, it's good to be nice towards people (that deserve it).

She's friendly even though you say you are grumpy (like Stormie). She likes your character then.
