You got some balls accusing a poster of being a Nazi

Wild camping is possible, pretty much all touristic routes have wild camping sets (look for water sources on a map). None of them is clean, mind you. It's an adventure only for some really young people ;)
Bears are the real problem (some weeks ago a policeman off duty was killed by a bear in that area, and that is just one example) but not of "o my god they are everywhere" level. You have to look around and camp only on open sites (Beer don't leave forrest usually, so follow tourist marking, food higiene and you will be safe hopefully, whenever see them remember that they are wild huge animals. Some people forget that).
We saw bear only ones (The memory was not so exiting like seeing owl up close. That was amazing).
But anyway it is smart to visit tourist office and say about your existence and ask for emergency numbers and stuff. They actually can help. Every year they recover unfortunate tourists (both romanian and foreign), stocked in some stupid places. Mobiles do work, so take some special charger, or enough batteries.
