  1. I'm not talking about combat discipline, which is what I was trying to convey. The Corps doesn't seem to have much of an issue as every Marine on this post has observed their customs and courtesies whereas there are so many specialists and NCOs in my brigade that are just downright disrespectful towards officers...and not just this little wet behind the ears LT...but to our commanders. That does get them lit up.
  2. It's a part of the job you know...I'm not one for doing what I had to do at school, I state again it reinforces discipline because drill is supposed to be mechanical. But you need to maintain your fighting skills: period.
  3. I wouldn't call it college...but when I was in college in the fall we tended to have two parades a week and every morning and evening we marched to breakfast and supper with the current TAC/OC taking review. But yeah training like that being canceled is bogus.
  4. In regards to useless tradition...that's part of your identity. We have a lot ****birds at the top that think they know our tradition when in reality our identity was completely degraded by Vietnam and the period after the war. I know people don't like parades, and drill, but this is the military and that's a part of it. The reality is drill reinforces discipline and not something just to jerk peoples chain...even though some people think that's all its for.
  5. Maybe just my ****ty brain...but ever ytime I see your status I think cunilingus...
  6. My two buddies one was an Gunny in LOG, and the other an E6 in the Infantry...both Tankers, the tankers are some of the best the Corps has to offer on the O side because they are so few.
  7. Gettin' out huh, got something lined up or you going to the civilian schoolhouse?
  8. I saw it on Ops Core right after I asked...oh I'm very sure I'll be using it. I have buddies that are PLs at 2nd Tanks so if I'm near Lejeune I'll let you know.
  9. What was the mount you used for the contour onto the obscure rail?
  10. The Fischer character was making me a little uncomfortable. He went off the deep end last night. The visuals this book bring out are awesome!
