Why not go for it! I looked at the specs on the camera as well as the page on flickr with sample shots. I gotta admit the camera looks nice and rugged - well built. Photos are pretty good as well. 36.3 MP....Thats going to be alot of pixels to examine :D. Keep me updated to what you buy. You think you would get the camera with a kit lens? Maybe or go with a different lens?

Why not? As long as you keep uploading photos to look at! What is swaying you towards Nikon? I've invested so much in Canon so Im stuck with them for awhile, so if i ever wanted to go Nikon I could only hope my stuff was stolen :P
