Frankly, I really doubt it.
Given how clueless people seem to be in most Iran threads (I mean there's no Israeli able to reflect on the Peripheral Strategy that Israel was trying to salvage when Ruhollah K. was the big whig in Devilistan). It's becoming really tiresome hearing their propaganda on Iran and then linking Syria and Iran. As I said in the Libyan thread, Russia was going to Veto the Hell out of any UNSC resolution remotely asking for force to be applied.

What the Syrian thread needs, is images of the Lebanese and Turkish borders being combed out of smugglers and foreign intel personnel. While truth be told I do not support Bashar (for he has caved in to the sunnis for quite some time since he got daddy's palace) and wouldn't mind seeing him leaving power, I cannot fathom why now with subpar secular conditions and a clear message of civil war given by the so called Free Syrian soldiers.

Thank you my good sir. The issue however relies with the times ahead. Not with the past. People will go for the easy thinking card. Needless to say, they will discover how wrong they are.
