The 6- day party, associated with the 4 day marches, is situated around the Waalkade (along the riverbank in the city) 14 - 20 July.

It is generally advised to have at least done 500km in training.

Going up from 20km with 5km increments, ending with a 50-40-50-30 km training schedule. Make sure to get well rested in the last two weeks before starting, doing only one 20km per week.

And if you do end up in the medical tent with feet problems, don't whine too much. The nurses treat soldiers well, 'cry babies' not so much...
