Anything else from AUSA?
Idk man, would be nice.
Personally partial to the Jackal and Coyote myself...I haven't seen the M1200, all of the M1117s are with MP units.
I'm looking for something lighter and smaller than a Bradley...enough firepower to defend itself and gtfo, and a Stryker is just too big yes somehow an LRAS makes it a recce platform. HMMWVs...meh. Being a Cavalry Officer recce is my job. The whole force protection idea is where we got where we are today with recce vehicles. We're not supposed to become decisively engaged.
I'm more interested in a legitimate recce platform...the GCV is not the answer, neither was the Bradley. The British have it right between the Jackal, Coyote and the Scimitar(heavy recce).
What is this Ace in the Hole you were talking about?
"My God! Then this will be an total outrage when our industry will present LOOK on MSPO this year..." Clearly Poland´s WMD ;)
I knew the instant Bloo inquired about the current US Abrams fleet configuration, who would awaken ^_^ You are the true tankman
Thanks for your input, You seems very passionate about tanks, and I would love to hear your take about the T-84s.
Damian, you seem to be a pretty big tank man, so could you get me this? I've been looking at the armor of the Cadillac Gage/Textron, but everywhere I look, the armor figures vary drastically. Do you have any idea what it is? Also you mentioned that M1A3-proposal/outline...do you think it'll be done anytime soon, and in this economic climate? And does the US keep M-60 Pattons still on standby, or are they now in National Guard units only?
