    Thanks man. I never really worried about it. With some paints, the barrel can turn slightly pink with heavy amount of shooting in a short period of time....but most people never get to that point. You'd be surprised how well paint holds up against heat.

  8. I love the AR platform, but I won't sell other's short. I too own an HK91, but I keep it plain like my FAL as well. Sleep good, my friend.

  10. For the record, I'm a maintainer, and while maintaining I have done almost enough to build that I know giftedly how to build them, and built them well I have done. Reloading ammo? No, I'm a stubborn mule that waste's money buying manufactured rounds. Call it me not trusting myself when my life may depend on it.
