    Hey there,

    Yeah I was being cheeky. What i was trying to say is only a true fanboi would claim a 70s Flanker design (so basically the original in service interceptors from the 80s) could take on an F-35 (and I like the 35, don't know why it gets so much heat). The chances of an Su-35BM are much much better, because it is hardly 70s technology, and I think most F-35 haters pick the SU-30MKI and Su-35 when making their arguments.

    South Africans had a BT-67 equipped for anti submarine duties. massive great MAD front and rear - weird, but hell, if it works, use it! nice fLIR pod pic though.

    Hi there, apologise for turning your laser thread into a hi-tech weapons discussion extravaganza!! However, lasers and DEW systems are damn cool... but so are hypersonic airframes and material science..
