The moment I get to shoot one I'll let you know. But I do know that the Army and Marine Corps tried twice already to replace the M16...once was the OICW and then we had the XM8 which had the idea of once materials were light enough you'd fuse the them back together to complete what they wanted with the OICW.
I personally like the M16A4 more than the M4. I've been a lot more accurate with the M16 by far, I've had plenty more jams on the M4 by comparison and maybe that is because I've shot with it a lot more but it seems more frequent. The SCAR from all reports sounds great I just don't see there is going to be a change for a long time...I mean look at the plate carrier deal...they went for something as cheap as possible.

ACR are not a reality yet, so no comparison. SCAR already tasted blood in combat..so what do you think? SCAR has some minor problems still to be worked out, but it is the closest to perfection...
For the guys with money to piss away...what's the difference in price between a Remington ACR and the FNH SCAR? This is in regards to replacing the M16 family.
