How about the victims ?
It's very unfair for the victims or the family of the victims. Should the CT Commando arrived sooner, they have could minimize the number of casualties. They could eliminate the terrorists much faster.
There were multiple targets, yes, but only three, not ten. And the number of Commando is g.....n 200 people !
This is the Indonesian CT Teams must learn ! And please no classic politician-type BS excuses; we do our best, we don't expect this attack, the terrorists are well prepared, there are multiple targets, bla...bla...bla...
Not politcal excuse, believe me, I am as far from being a politican as anyone can be. Just tactical reality, intel gathering, pre deployment, and the op itself, for an event such as that is almost unprecedented. People did get killed and most certainly more would have been dead without indian police/ military intervention.

Such an attack is really unpredictable without a good intelligencenetwork.
But the Indian police wasnt prepared at all, i also didnt expected such powerfull country with nuclear weapons acted so amaturistic and slowly.
The normal police was only armed with wooden sticks, the reinforcements with obsolete rifles, bulletproof vests and equipment.
Hopefully they learned from this, improve their weaponry and equipment, and will have trainings with GSG9 and special forces/CT units from neighbourcountries.

Don't forget that we need a good national security intelligence capability to.. I hope BIN will always gather information related with terrorism plan.. It's better to prevent rather than to counter the terrorism act...

I agree.
Terrorists needs only to get it right just once and the result is terrible. Plus terrorists have the advantages of initiatives. Law enforcers (Police, military etc) do not have that luxury and it is extremely difficult for them to be right at all times.
