This armoured car is not meant to fight anybody armed with a RPG. It is a light reconnaissance vehicle, it's mission in battle is to sneak to the enemy lines and gather informations. It's MG is just for emergency selfdefence, it's primary "weapons" are it's small size, it's speed and it's smoke launchers.
Look at modern Recce cars, like Fennek, VBL etc. They are neither bigger, nor better armoured.
These are Alvis 90 Scorpion recce. tanks. Not AMX-13's
