just like the title.. I need a new vest... All I need is a vest that I can move fast with, and will keep my mags in place. I need something that is comfortable and great looking. What looks better also? I would also like to find out some personal opinions.. Thanks..

Any vest on the market will work for you. Unless you load an excessive amount of weight on it you should be just as fast with any vest you wear.Originally Posted by gysgtkim

I personally have been eye balling the HSGI Denali. I think that looks good.
Of the vests I have owned the Paraclete RAV is the best looking.
If you want to "move fast" I don't recommend anything HSGI makes. It's great gear, hella well built, but it's also huge and bulky as all hell. It's good for riding around and kicking in doors, not so much for running through the woods.
Also plate carriers--unless you're going to put in plates for "the look", and then you have a heavy, bulky, uncomfortable system again.
If you want light and streamlined, Tactical Tailor's MAV or SOtech's Hellcat.
Ive got a weesatch, its got more than enough space to hold things. Ive never had any problems feeling to "bulky" or anything.
i only expect to have around 8-10 mags for my m468. I also agree that looks has a lot to do with my decision. On plate carriers, I use the foam plates and they work well. Im just wondering if the inner mag pouches on the woosatch variants work well.. any opinions or suggestions??
With the weesatch, im able to hold 8 M4 Mags w/magpuls on them in the 4 middle pouches and 1 mag in each of the end pouches.
ok.. hey joker.. are you able to move quick through branches, bushes, etc. with all of those mags and the gear you are wearing?
You could always run with just a knife out. You always run faster with a knife.
Get that Eagles Rhodesian Vest. I ran all over the place in a training excersize recently and it was nice and light. Beat the hell out of running with plates.
i would get the ealges rhodhesian vest but it has no back to it. I am crazy about plate carriers but Im also thinking about the wasatch variants.
