I don't know the numbers for 2004-present.

EDIT: found more recent numbers, see Table 1281 in this PDF document (Poland is conspicuously absent from that document, however).

    $4 billion?!
The US aid for Poland is worth only around $ 30 million annually.

These funds have been used to equip rapid-reaction brigades, a Peacekeeping Training Center, the National Defense University’s War Gaming and Simulation Center, the Military Institute of Health and Epidemiology, and numerous airfields.

I have since found a spreadsheet from the same site (census.gov) that makes a liar out of me. Great. Oh well, I will admit to my mistake and move on.

Just thought I'd mention that 1 and 2 should be the other way round, and what's 'Bophutswana'?

Bophutswana, Transkai, Ciskai, and Venda were/are tribal homelands which, during the 80's, were granted some degree of "independance" by the South African ruling regime.

They have now passed back into South Africa, their equipment either sold off or passed on to the SAAF.

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up. Wow, so these tribal homelands had an air force? Seems a bit excessive lol

IIRC it was more of an air service for transport and logistics, not a combat force.

The aircraft in question is a PC-7, which, as well as being a trainer, is a COIN aircraft... What would a tribal homeland require combat aircraft for? I wouldn't imagine they'd use them against another homeland? lol
