[*******#0033ff]30 Nov 2006][/COLOR] /АRMS-ТАSS/A Mi-17 helicopter pilot training center outfitted with Russian-made unique equipment opens in Mexico on November 28.The Centre providing the personal training of pilots with training results being entered into a computer has been created in especially built premises in the territory of a Mexico AF base, Veracrus state, on the shore of the Mexican gulf.Speaking at a ceremony arranged on the occasion, Navy minister vice-admiral Marco Antonio Peirot Gonsales highly appreciated the new training centre having all conditions necessary to ensure integral training of personnel. Under a contract with Rosoboronexport, St. Petersburg-based aircraft repair plant 'Spark' carries out repair and maintenance of Russian-built helicopters.Minewhile, on November 28 there was held a parade of Mexican Navy units with the involvement of Russian- made helicopters. At present Mexico has about 60 such aircraft in service.
