Why not just buy the gripen its cheap and available to almost any country that wants it without any real political strings attached. The Sweds are basically giving them away at the price they sale the basic unit at around 40 to 60 million a plane.

I know every one wants the shiny american or russian planes but what they need is a practical fighter that is in good condition that can last a good 30 years.

And Felix i do dare question any ones opinion.

They were on patrol and encountered a convoy of armed men. Both policemen were killed.

Is great to see the new cammo being worn by la marina and el ejercito, the desert uniform on both looks pretty good, almost for a moment I thought I was looking at the us army

I'd like to see all of those numbnuts in the dessert or the sierra chasing or locating crops or marihuana or storming safehouses and rescuing hostages.

They are not taking credits. They were invited by the army to presence the destruction of mariguana. This is a public act to show to the poeple that all orders of government are working together.

Countries dont buy what they dont need as a primary need, saddly the f5 are going beyond their midlife by themselfes and without any possible help. In the end we dont need them that much for the task at hand, for that we need money, training, and helos.

well civil authorities are above militar comands, they do have credit in crime fighting. Not all the drug burning there was confiscated by military personel.
