Does anyone here know what happend in Xalapa veracruz? Becuase me and some friends yesterday were hungry for some traut fish and we walk around 2 hours to this town to eat but on the way back we hitch a ride and on the road there were alot of cops and we had to stop and it was a bit scary when they started runing with their machine guns to this house and after they let us pass. Then when the people that gave us a ride neer xalapa we took a taxi and ask what had happend he told us that there was a shooting a few hours ago in xalapa exactly were we were headed. But my friend told me that it could have been because they had kill a zeta leader around veracruz. And so this is why I ask if anyone knows what happend ? who were the "sicarios" ?
Rest in Peace to security forces :/
Guys also what Mexican government when they arrest cartels Mexica have death penalty?
The general was of the army. This is a serious event and I pray the murders are hunted down, which I have no doubt is what is happening. Sadly in Mexico, capital punishment does not exist, although many want it instated. But then you have these scum human rights people who have no trouble protesting that solely to protect the hand that feeds, which is the hand of the cartels, and all associated with them.
Depends on which state. I remember about a couple of years ago some criminals that decided to rob a Samborn's store in Mexico City got caught by the police red handed, and since they had a lot of people being held against their will inside the store, they were charged with kidnapping each person inside the store, and the charges were accumulable. In Mexico if you hold someone against their will, even if it is for a short time, it is considered kidnapping. They only got something like 999 year prison sentences each. In my opinion they were really lucky, because if they would have just held one more person against their will, they would have gotten more than 1000 years. Now that would have really sucked.
Mexico needs more sentencing like that.
Sadly there is no death penalty in Mexico. First Mexico has to re do their legal system, change the "guilty until proven innocent" to the more modern system of "innocent until proven guilty"
Also, too many good cops and dedicated military personnel arrest the Cartel scum just to have the Cartel Members get a 2 month sentence for murder and back on the street. Mexico's legal system has to undergo MAJOR changes.
I don't think it's that much of a "guilty until proven innocent" vs. "innocent until proven guilty" thing, it's more of a our legal sytem is full of a bunch of corrupt judges that aren't worth a **** kind of problem. If the laws that are in place right now were applied the way that they're supposed to be, and a little common sense was used, I think things wouldn't be so bad. In many cases you see the cops and soldiers do their job but these assholes get off on technicalities, because "the case wasn't made properly" or something. If I were one of those judges and had one of those assholes in my power and the case was poorly integrated, I would call off the trial because "I had a headache", call the person responsible for integrating the case back into my office and tell them to get his act together or else I'd throw him in jail.
P.S. I see you fixed your name F.A. How'd you do it?
