Here are some more information about more C-295's for the Mexican Air Force from Jane's.

Mexico calls for more C-295Ms The Mexican Air Force (FAM) announced on 31 October that it would buy a second batch of five Airbus Military C-295M tactical transport aircraft. These C-295Ms will begin to replace the FAM's fleet of IAI Arava short take-off and landing (STOL) aircraft, which it has operated since 1973, as the service has announced that it is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain the type due to decreasing spares in the international market

Nuevo Leon creates a new tactical team trained by ex NYPD officers and ex U.S. Military personel. The Unidad Especial Tactica y Preventiva - Special Tactical Preventive Unit or UTP is a 20 man special tactical team imitating New Yorks Hercules tactical team. 40 more officers will be integrated into the special unit.

Nuevo Leon, Apodaca - Apodaca Police officer Rogelio Israel Martínez Sánchez, 26 yrs old shot and killed two criminals in a gunfight on the Apodaca - Juarez road but the 26 year old officer was injured and later died from his wounds. Detectives reveal the two criminals were ex cops from the same department who were fired for not passing a "Honesty-trust exam" and for having ties to a criminal organization. Rogelio Sanchez was barely serving a year within the department and was also a ex army special forces member.
R.I.P. to the officer doing his duty.
