Very interesting videos and photos (sorry I can't speak Spanish). Yet very interesting.

I did notice the Mexican Forces seem to be operating from soft skin vehicles. Is there a low threat from IED's and complex ambushes and attacks on Mexican Forces Callsigns?

Thank GOD for the lack of IED's. But still it is very brave to be patrolling in soft skin vehicles. I hope for the sake of your Forces, they planning to up armour their vehicles to B6 standard at least.

State of Mexico- Accident between a Army personel carrier and a civilian vehicle leaves presumably 3 military personel and 1 civilian killed.

Most F550's are on a longer wheelbase which gives added stability and shortening them gets rid of some of that stability. These are also raised and are taller and have armor going all the way up to the top of the vehicle making them much more top heavy then base F550's but it dosent look like they modified the suspension on any of the pics of these sandcats to cope with that. On top of that the F550 already has terrible traction control and stability systems for it's class. They specifically built in on a truck platform to save money and so they could go fast but these platforms aren't built to be driven fast and they are still truck platforms and overloaded ones at that. They should have spent the few extra bucks and used a purpose built platform optimized for moving top heavy loads which can still travel fast like a Unimog or at least a Daimler/Mercedes or International heavy truck platform.

Yep. There have been requests for new better vehicles but some of the leftists and members of the former ruling party have serious grudges against the military and decline most needed requests.

Jesus, that microbus looks like a bomb went off in it. RIP to the three soldiers and the civilian dead. Yet another reason the army needs to actual purpose built vehicles.

Default Two More Blackhawks for the Federal Police

I was reading a article in Air Force Monthly magazine today and I seen the Mexican Federal Police has ordered two additional UH-60M Blackhawks which will be delivered early this year.
