    Municipal, State & Ministerial Police secure a neighborhood after a shootout in the state of capital of Zacatecas; police confirm one armed man was killed while injuring another. Also, police arrested another presumed armed man.

    State Police Special Forces supported by the Army raided a safehouse with 8 armed individuals, the gunmen pointed their weapons and threatened to throw a grenade but were stoped by State Police forces.


    Mexican Army troops discovered a drug-trunnel in Nogales; acting on a anonymous tip, troops were told that armed men were present in a two story home when troops arrived no gunmen were present and their no reports of anybody detained. Since October 2008 to this date, 50 drug tunnels have been discovered along the Mexican-California,Arizona border.

    Cordoba, Veracruz
    Gunmen belonging to the Zetas organization attempted to rescue their fallen leader Ángel Enrique Uscanga aka "Pokemon" who was killed by Marines on Thursday, also seizing a gold plated AK-47. State Authorities report that the rescue attempt failed & managed to kill 4 gunmen.


    For the third consecutive day, their have been reports of shootouts during the daytime between rival gunmen in the city of Fresnillo, Zacatecas.


    Tlatlaya, State of Mexico
    While in a restaurant, Mexican troops were attacked by gunmen resulting in one soldier being injured,soldiers immediately returned fire & killed one assailant, the heavily armed individuals retreated but the Army managed to capture two of them.

    Federal Ministerial Police driving on Rodriguez Triana Boulevard were attacked by heavily armed gunmen in Torreon, Coahuila, Federal Police forces and & Army troops secured the area. Authorities have reported that their were no deaths or injuries nore anybody under custody.

    Army troops kill 4 gunmen belonging to the Zetas criminal organization in a shootout in Cordoba, Veracruz. The Army also assumes that among the dead lays the body of a regional leader.

    2 gunmen were killed & another injured after a shootout with Sonora State Police near Hermosillo, Sonora. Immediately after the shootout State & Municipal police with the support from a state helicopter combed the area in the search for more gunmen. The gunmen used a double cabin silver chevrolet silverado which was later taken away by authorities.

    11 Armed gunmen killed in the community of Francisco Garcia Salinas,Zacatecas.

    Army troops from the 97th Infantry Battalion on patrol near the rural community of Francisco, Garcia Salinas were fired upon by gunmen. Federal & State authorities has confirmed that 11 armed individuals uncluding 2 females were killed in the attack; also seized were 11 assault weapons, 2 grenade launchers, 1 grenade, 2 armoured vehicles of recent model. The Mexican Army is expected to report of the shooting within hours. Local & Federal Authorities will identify the bodies and confirm which criminal organization they belong to.

    According to the video the number of dead rose to 12. Also Mexican Marines have arrested 16 presumed criminals in Fresnillo, Zacatecas.

    Police Officers from Marcos Castellanos municipality , located close to the michoacan - jalisco state borders have resigned due to the fear of Organize Crime in the area. This has happened after recent shootouts have occured in said area. The police force consisted of only 6 officers.
