The army was trying to get rid of them. They wanted to send them to the Navy. But later on there was a rumor that this unit was disbanded. I wouldn't be surprised to still see them on the military parade in september.

from reading the previous post about the US and Mexico going to war in the future. Is that the reason the goverment has kept the military fairly small and weak so as not to seem like a threat to the US.

So that may be the reason the army is not as strong as it could easily be as not to seem aggresive in the eyes of the US.

I thought they were allready disbanded. Well.Navy argumented something like they had no real use and invaded naval SF jurisdiction and job.
Any way if they were to be disbanded such abilities would be well apreciated into the SF of the army.

I think that they had no real use, SF are supposed to cover all áreas, not just one specific.

This pic doens´t look as if it was D.f parade, seems like another city.

    yeah, we do.

4 of them ex IDF Ch-53 Yasoor 2000. They are located at Merida. They are in replacement of russian hardware and to boost medium lift, humanitarian support and special operations on day or night with heavy wheater.
In your first pic, the staboard filters is sand colored, cause during a trainign flight in Israel, some techis, left a screw loose, engenie sucked it and killed her. They had to made an emergency landing, without fruther problems.

Our helo fleet is wide, and mixed. Deppending on it´s behaviour and political conditions 4 more would be bought, now this is only as a posibility.

so the rumors about the mexican police being armed with g 36 was true after all. So if the police units are going to be armed with the g 36 why not the army instead of using the FX-05 if it has so many problems as some forums and articles claim.

But i really like the FX-05 its a really well designed assault rifle.
