so to top it off. The Federal Police use both the Black Scorpion APC, and the Wolverine APC better known as Escorpeon/Scorpion. Mexican Navy is now going to use the Wolverine APC aka Scorpion.

heres some pictures of a Federal Police Escorpeon.

It actually is stupid and wastes a lot of body energy and tires you out very quickly. This type of marching became a tradition after the Mexican revolution because the Federal troops under Diaz were trained under German military doctrine which and marched in the same goose stepping way which would later be made famous by the Nazis. The PRI government ordered this change away from German style uniformology, marching styles and symbology later to distance itself from the negative imagery it brought up. Although you can still see some German influence in the gorgets that are sometimes still used and some ceremonial uniforms. The type of marching that Mexican soldiers currently uses is highly strenuous and tires you out very quickly unlike the type of march that the Russian soldiers do in the video which is meant to use very little body strength and lets the momentom of the swings of the body pull forward thus increasing the amount of energy the body saves so soldier could march longer distances. The Chinese and Germans styles of marching use similar principals. Mexico has done away with this style for political reasons, and i'm not sure why they chose this though.

Okay, I have a question. If the army kills "EL Chapo" is killed in a military operation. Will violence calm down? Will his death be pointless?

What i see is the main heads of Loz Zetas, Beltran Leyva Cartel and La Familia going down first then El Chapo.

They are speaking of how the Chinese Military impressed SEDENA alot more than any of the other countries in the 200th anniversary parade. "we practiced alot to impress them" - reporter

All three branches participated. Army: Green. Navy: White. Air Force: Blue.

We were very concerned on how to make our presence in Mexico and march seem as good as in our own parades. This took a long time of practice to figure out how to do with a limited amount of personnel.

The swords used in the Mexican parade was never used in Chinese parades (we never used swords of any kind) so we had to practice on how to use it in our march there.

We Flew almost 20 hours from Shanghai and when we arrived we were placed in the Mexican Military University Barracks.

Our beds were a little short for us while in the barracks and we had to try to adapt to sleep on the beds, however there was a much bigger problem we have a 13 hour difference so getting to sleep at the proper times was a bit troubling.

We were very very sleepy so we had to figure out ways to stay awake most of the times our eyes were red from tiredness.

the layout of the march was different so we had to compensate for that.

that's all I could translate my chinese is barely getting there

They all seemed to be Mongolian. Their height would attest to that as well.

Nop, actualy things may go even worst, he represents a balance for what ive read. I don´t know why you are so obsesed with that guy? not to put him in the altar, but from all the drug lords, his organization ain´t as violent and cruel as others, have you ever wondered why the gov is not diverting so many resources to catch him? its prority to catch those who mess up directly violenting civilians.

Reason at last!!, thank you for the effort os translating.

I remember seeing this guys at HCM back is sept 2010, they were impresive in person, incredibly tall!! not what we would expect from the short chineese comunity we have in mexico DF. Also, their perfection on their march, was notable. The ones who stole the show at the parade were China and Russia.

I don´t belive they had such a technical and biomechanical mind when they impose it, man!!. I dont like it either, the army should modernize some of its old old old ways. But alas thats not a priority right now.

Haha yeah. As it's been stated before the whole military needs a massive overhaul and modernization. But really try walking the way those MX soldiers are for a while and you'll get exhausted and then march the way the Chinese were and you will barely find yourself sweating. I guess it's a mixed blessing though for the Mexican army as it means they're always getting exercise. Gotta cut down on the national obesity rates....
