Honestly just by looking at it, and as you mentioned based on the size I would say MARS sir. But I would be delighted if someone could tell us for sure.

It looks like after that massive shootout outside the soccer stadium in Torreon a few months ago, that the army and police is patrolling those areas now.

i dont see a heavy barrel on it. Plus mexico did buy some or the Colt IARs, so i guess the idea of a Mag fed LMG doesnt seem so stupid to mexico
It looks like a standard FX05 will be difficult to find out if is a new or strengthened version, or just a belt-fed normal FX
