He doesn't look bad ass, he looks like an FNG with all that brand new kit.

It's not a matter of how it "looks", it is a matter that he has the helmet riding high above his ears, ie. it is small for the size of his mellon.

This is how a helmet is suposed to fit, so it does the job of protecting the gray mater bucket.

More likely with the air force, but with navy, not for a while since they've bought few Mi-171's a few years ago. However, is both the Mexican Air Force and Navy looking to buy anymore helicopters other than the Cougar like the Blackhawks, Panthers, and other helicopters. I'm kind of surprised that they haven't order anymore CH-53's or the CH-47 Chinook.

    Default Really?

Whats with all the hating? (Im seeing a psyche of a Mexican Cangrejo coming out)

A few of you are missing the point..... All i'm saying is that im sure a lard ass cartel member would think twice about firing at someone who looks like the guy on the left.... then that whole squad of soldiers on the right. Visuals are very important... sure, gucci dosn't make a soldier just look at the modern German army (all high tech) yet a report recently came out saying today's German army cant handle combat due to the average soldier now being overweight and overall unhealthy. Yes, I get it.... but once again visuals are very important. Know your enemy, Put yourself in a piece of crap 17 year old sicario's head.... now tell me which of these you would feel more comfortable confronting

I agree, add to that the fact that visual intimidation is a big part in warfare a part that can't be ignored. A lot of the time you don't even have to fire a single shot if you just intimidate the enemy into giving up.

Not a TBHII (Gentex) or a TC3002 (MSA) style of Special Operations Cut Helmet, you're supposed to be able to fit a headset under there if necessary, that gives it it's peculiar shape and reduced ballistic protection.

Well, the bars on his shoulders attest to the fact that HE IS NOT a FNG... and now we're against brand new gear?... I guess you can't ever please everybody.

The Navy for now will continue buying cougars and panthers for the OPVs, there are no immediate plans to buy blackhawks or anything like that It is possible the purchase of a attack helicopter, but as always, the information is completely sealed.

The information that I posted is confirmed.
