Very cool idea but it seems like their making into a telenovela. It still bothers me that most people on Mexican TV don't look like actual Mexicans.
Its the same crap of telenovelas from televisa or tv azteca, only actors whit "pretty face".
Look, first Im not in to the idea of this telenovela with Mexican marine infantry. But I do believe that they are "actual Mexicans". And obviously Televisa or TV Azteca will prefer A. a pretty face B. some one who is light skin. ... When I first came to Mexico well I saw alot of "Malinchista's." and racism. And much has to do with the media prjecting that lighter skin is better, foreign is better. (complexo de inferioridade). But I'm off subject now.
What do you mean by "don't look like actual Mexicans." I'm sure that you know that Mexican is not a race, but a nationality. There are many Mexicans of different skin colors and backgrounds. I have a lot of family of light complexion and blonde hair and blue eyes. I get tired of people stereotyping Mexicans, just like you are doing! I do admit that they rather go for the light skinned ones, but we all know that racism exist in Mexico and all over the world.
