Are you going to put some Finish, Austrian...photos as a Non-alligned group, together with Yugoslavia?

you'eve never seen people holding up signs on american streets before? In LA I have seen people holding up from pizza ads to fincial-loan ads on street corners. they just stand there, holding a sign. Its cheaper to pay someone to stand there all day then to rent the area to put up a billboard or pole. But it wasn't all true, unemployed people don't have a sign on their back that says "need work"

but then again, this isn't a military related pic.

this is an interesting shot from the czech series:
    studying hard,

OMG CINOEYE, I don't understand why do you keep trying to pick a fight? Sorry you don't like it but this is how I want to group the JNA. I know all about the old JNA my father was part of it and this is not that big of a deal! If you don't like me posting my JNA pictures here, don't look, it's that simple!

Again, the JNA was closer to these countries than the Nato countries and I did not have enough room in the title to put "Warsaw pact ground troops and Non-Allied / Non-Warsaw Pact Yugoslavia - cold war era pictures" . Non-allied Finish, Austrian troops... were not communist and are not even closly related to these other troops in this thread. I am very much enjoying this thread so please don't ruin it.

    Excelent thread.

And I agree that the JNA belongs here, because Yugoslavia was a Socialist country and it's Army was in essence a War-Pac style Army

Wow, it must have been a very optimistic tempo of attack. Did they plan to seize southern Germany in 5-6 days? I know the Czechoslovak Army would have had a support of the Red Army, but such a tempo is impossible in a mountainous region.
Anyway the most funny plan I've seen was an attack of the Hungarian Army through the Alps

This is a great thread! Keep up the good work!

Can anyone ID this pattern. I'm not sure what it is? I suspect it could be Czech, but again it could be commercial.

I can not tell you whether it's military camo or not. During 1980's there were many researches to develop new camo pattern in WP countries. Some fabrics finally was sold and many commercial uniforms was made esp. for hunters.
