Default RFI Re: Load Ranger 2000 Military Version (?)

In the related article at http://www.airwar.ru/enc/uh/lr2000.html there is a mention of an armed military version as well as the civil one. Illustrated here is the prototype.

According to the above mentioned site, the helicopter was designed with military use in mind, hence its "gunship" looks, and later also considered for civil use. It uses components of the Bell Model 206 Jet Ranger. The military version was to have been armed with two pylons (Stub wings?) each having two weapon suspension points.
Does anyone have more info/photos on this intriguing subject?

Something very similar was done with the UH-1 back in the late 80's as I recall. Made it look like Blue Thunder, and I don't think anyone bought any.

Prototypes are just that until someone buys and uses them; for every piece of equipment adopted there are a dozen prototypes that don't succeed.

I think you mean the UH-1B based Penetrator.
