They can. They can also double feed, stove pipe, and generally do all sorts of things that **** up real weapons. I had an M16 that worked great for practice, but every game (when I actually needed it), it ****ed up. Damn good replica, same level of functionality as the real thing.

I was going to say CJ following around A17 is amusing, specially him being on the SA80 thread too...

But wait, what? A17 has Ft Bragg under his locstat. Does this mean hes actually military? Shock horror!

I just find it a bit odd that a serving troopy decides to airsoft as well. Probably not so odd but I'd have thought you'd have enough rolling around in the mud with the dayjob, esp if you are combat arms or a regular?

Because its fun. I get to do what I joined to do (run around in full kit, shooting people), but don't have to deal with the normal Army BS that clutters any training we do.

Generally, yes. Especially during blank firing. 2/3 of the M4's in my platoon are glorified bolt action rifles then. And as for disagreeing with what I've said, sorry if my experiance with M16/M4's is different than yours, in my experiance, they suck.

Yeah, 11B1P, Airborne Infantry. You'd think I would, but even so, after spending week in the field, I went out and played a full day. Had to, or else I'd go nuts.
