Tears of the Sun - Headset

    Hi you guys

a friend of mine wants to reenact "Bruce Willis" from his movie "Tears of the Sun". Unfortunately we did not find anything about the headset Bruce wore in this film. Can anyone help him/us?
We only knew that he uses a LASH II...but which headset?

There cou can see the headset.

This Link below the picture is what I found in the internet, but I'm not sure if it's the right "thing"

    P.S.
If you have any site which handle the subject of "Reenacting TotS" I would appreciate if you could give me the link. Every information is useful

If your friend REALLY wants to reenact Bruce in TOTS he MUST, I say again MUST have his aimpoint facing the wrong way.
I have no idea what type of a headset that is, good luck in your search.

To be slightly fair, the Aimpoint was only reversed for a scene or two close to the beginning. It had switched around by the time he shot anybody.

    It's still pretty bad though...

Don't have a clue why he has his aimpoint reversed, but can anyone tell me what knife that is?

I may be slightly off, but I think the knife in that shot, fixed to his vest, is either an Emerson Kandahar (limited edition range) or an Emerson BTS fixed blade from their standard range.

When I saw the film I thought the knife he used to take down the first guy at night in the jungle was an Emerson BTS.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Rudi

If you're after more info on the sheath, your pictures have confirmed its an Emerson BTS Police Fixed blade and by the look of it the sheath is just an inverted Emerson ballistic knife sheath. I think you can only get them in Black too.

To be honest, I kind of think they're a bit big for the BTS Police Fixed blade size, but that is only IMHO.

Superb knives though as are all of Mr. Emerson's fine cutlery!!

    He found the knife...

    http://www.1sks.com/store/emerson-po...nife-info.html

The sheath is the same you get when you buy the knife there...
But it's an expensive thing...about 300 Euro he would have to pay to get this knife...

Should be the right one...We discuss if the earclip is the right or wrong one...but the rest is perfect. Thanks for that.

A couple of years ago there was a long thread on these forums dedicated to the exact same question. It featured lots of pictures, information, links to sellers, etc. Also lots of reasons why they are not a good choice, but hey: Who says films are realistic anyway!

I'm not gonna look that thread up, I hate searching here, but since you really wanna know... GL!
