Hi guys, this is some of my WW II stuff;
At first: My Great-Grandfathers decorations:
Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse (Iron cross 2 class) , Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze, Afrika Aermelband, Medaille für den deutsch-italienischen Feldzug in Afrika (Medal for the german-italian campain in Africa)

Wasnt the Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 104 destroyed in 1943?
Thats true...but remainders of the unit went to the peninsula of Bône,or where captured.
My grandfather was captured in 1944 in Italy.

That is some very cool stuff. My great uncle served with the US in Italy during the war. I'll have to check what unit he was in as I cannot quite remember but I have it written down. He passed away a couple of years ago but I wasn't left anything of his. I just remember him having his garrison cap with artillery pipping and his CIB. Wish I had been more into this kind of stuff when he was still around so I could have asked him more about it and been able to hear his story.
