Thanks. I'm glad that finally the smoke of battle - and ill-informed writing- will be dispersed as much as it can. Would I be right, then, in thinking that "Voices from Longdon" will be in printed book form?
My book of images taken during the Falkands conflict is now also available as an iBook direct from Blurb. It's obviously not as good as a signed printed copy but it's certainly a lot cheeper. Over 400 images and many of them never published before now.

PART 2 contains the shadowing of Task Group 79.3 and the sinking of ARA General Belgrano. Fascinating reading.
'Conks' engaged Belgrano with 21'' Mk8 Mod 4 heavyweight torpedoes from a distance of 1,550 yards... that's pretty much point-blank range in naval warfare!
Rear Admiral Carlos Busser, who led the Argentine invasion of the Falklands, has died of a heart attack.

Not just for his role in the war (which he continued to attempt to justify until his death), but also for his complicity in torture, and supporting a regime which committed appalling acts of cruelty... i suspect he's burning in hell right now.
Yes HS, I'm with you on that. BIH rather than RIP.

The military governor of the Falkland Islands during Argentina’s brief occupation of the archipelago in 1982 was detained for his alleged role in human rights abuses at a notorious torture center in the 1970s, prosecutors said Thursday.
