The fact that there is another pack that sucks even more doesn't make the "Kampfrucksack" any better.

Whats wrong with the Kampfrucksack??I think its a good piece of equipment,a lot of space and comfortable

My 2 cents about the Kampfrucksack:

Pros:
- You usually get it for free
- It's flecktarn
- It makes a rather nice day-pack to carry stuff around barracks

Cons:
- Complete lack of a frame and waistbelt system that would take the weight of the pack off of ones shoulders
- Therefore really uncomfortable if you put any real weight in it
- No space for a sleeping bag inside
- Too small (only ~55l) for longer sustainment in the field, even if you lash your sleeping bag to the outside (which I personally don't like)

You can find them on Ebay, Ehobbyasia or whatever its called now.

My opinion about the Kampfrucksack is the same with Nickless, there really isnt much of a frame to it. If you actually put some weight in it, its really going to cut into your shoulders and to me its very uncomfortable, regardless of if you put padding on it.

Never had problems with it... also if the damn thing weights about 40Kg

its a start...i still need G36 Mag pouches, BW boots (mine are US Jungle boots), flak jacket, helmet, snow suit, and tropentarn. thats the basics of what i want to get soon
