    Great! I see that they have Flecktarn tent fabric also. I might even try that and see how it works.

    Once I get it and make the sling I'll post pics.

    Thanks a lot!

    Don't mix the Wüstenflecktarn with regular Flecktarn and stay away from those gay ass Flecktarn berets!

    OK, OK!!! If I'd known that my well crafted, fine fitting, blends with the rest of the uniform beret would have caused so much trouble, I wouldn't have posted the picture. I would have used my "gay ass" pink Hello Kitty beret, but I thought the Flecktarn looked more "manly". I guess I was wrong.

    I recognize my error. I hope this fixes it. It's all in good sport I expect....

    Not to keep raking you over the coals here, mate, but the black beret looks volumes more badass than an FT one.

    And if you honestly like making berets, maybe you could use your skills to make solidly colored ones that'll function just as good as your FT one.

    @Tiger D
    Mate don´t think about FT berets and one color ... since the Bundeswehr has the camo, execpt some TSK wear them, noone wears the beret in the greenside! It is because now it is listet on the Ausgehuniform-part. But most Loadouts here are NOT real greenside normal unit loadouts!!

    @Dingo1
    Looks good and official for SF .... but one question!
    Why Panzertape around the Mags? Shouldn´t the have normally conactes to put them together?

    The Tape is just secondary for tehe hold. First is that we use Paracord through the mags. When you need to change the mag in a firefight, you yust have to let it hang over your arm. So the magchangetime is very short. And if you have a little bit time and no one is shooting at you, you can put them back in the magpouches.
    Some guys use paracord and knot it onto the vest and the mag. So you can put a new mag otu and let the empty mag just fall off the gun.

    Actually effect the tape, that the doublemagazines hold really together. The pins are not perfect, so in fieldsituations the pins come loose or break away.
    This reminds me of a story, where someone in the army doesn't want to hear. He believed the pins are super and the magazine was never found again.

    I never understood why many people tape their slotted buttons. What´s the reason behind it?

    Everywere... The old helmetcover are one side Flecktarn and the other side snowcamo. The new ones are FT and desert. So look for a new BW Helmetcover.

    You can also look for a TacGear Helmet Cover in wüstentarn. It's not exactly Wüstenflecktarn but it comes close and nobody will notice. On the other side Dingo1's tip is better because the TacGear helmet cover can't do that much more then the real one plus if you get the issued on you have both camo.
