As for the set-up you've got going on...I wouldn't worry about 110%-accurate everything all the time. The whole idea is to play and have fun.

What you've described sounds like an ideal kit for most game scenarios anyway. Or you could even get a solid-coloured vest and just rock the flecktarn trousers and your black shirt.

Wear what's convenient and practical for you and your game necessities.

sorry about the L word heheheh, yea im not going for 100% accurate, im just looking for something that looks good & functional!

    thanks for the input!

    Are those unit patches?

Please tell me they're custom team patches.

Trying to help you stay out of trouble is all, man.
    When. will. they. learn?

Look below the tri-colour...there's a blur there. Meaning there probably is a patch, but you'd like people to think there isn't?

Just trying to help you from getting wacked with the ban-hammer...

The KSK was seen with EI CIRAS Body Armor and Lindnerhof Pouches attached to it, while being on the ILÜ Süd 2008 (Informations- und Lehrübung, big event, where selected forces show some parts of their capability).

    @Rhein:
Gear looks simple and nice, maybe swap that helmet to MICH 2001 or boonie.

That's the velcro field where usually a rank insignia would be attached. What you mistake for a blurred unit patch is just a plain olive drab velcro field.

This video was taken during the ILÜ Süd I referred to.
Check new pictures, you will see KSK wearing Multicam body armor by Cyre Precision and other still strange looking gear.

That MG42 is just f***n' awsome.
The flak vest is ok but could be swapped for something more useful.

OK, I need some help here. I have been looking for this vest for a long time, and I had thought I had found it until today.

heres the vest I thought it was: http://www.multi-design.de/shop/prod...Tarndruck.html

Heres the photos of the guys wearing the vest I want:

Now, the only difference is the moskito one zippers up in the front and the ones those soldiers are wearing have three straps and clips. Now does the one I linked to also have straps and clips (hidden on the inside maybe?) or does it HAVE to be worn all closed like that with the zipper.

The other unfortunate option is that the ones the pathfinders are wearing is this vest: http://www.asmc.de/de/Militaerausrue...ecktarn-p.html

Which is WAY out of my price range at 716$. Ridiculous amount of money to spend on something for airsoft.

Also any chance the original vest I linked to can have the "straps with clips" pulled out to enable the vest to be worn open like the other ones? I circled what looks like the end of a clip sticking out of the top side of the vest:

    Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Those Fernspäher wear that certain vest, you linked us from ASMC. It is Heim Kampfmittelweste.
The Multi Design vest is a modified clone of it, as you figured out already.
Regardless of the fact, that it expensive, it is worth it's money.
To get it cheaper just check eBay, they sometimes offer it or you create an account at some reliable German battle display/ reenactment forums oder military communities.

Does the multi Design vest ONLY zip up in the front or does it have those three straps. Personally when I have gear on and I am running around if anything is on the front of me it s pretty darn uncomfortable and hard to use (reloading and such).
