It's the tv series 'Insurgensi'. However, as for me Bukit Kepong was the best local movie that involves the battle between Police & CTs. Even the movie Lt Adnan couldn't match the battle scene. Just my personal opinion.
midge... mine too. 'bukit kepong 'still the best malaya (aka tanah melayu) film regarding police and CT engagement with hour to hour enactment of tactics, costumes n equipment. even the 'kopitiam chawan' (scene where the ct spies having coffee near the kepong police station) got that 50's feel.
far better than Datuk JS drama series of 'Gelak Khas', huh..ggk
for the FALO it is the canadian version with a different muzzle brake you can see also the different handguard in two piece who serve to bipod.
They are almost the same, and you are almost correct.
Malaysia Sourced its L2A1 from Lithgow, Australia,
L2A1 is the Heavy Barrelled, Automatic rifle version of the L1A1
This is essentially the same weapon as the canadian version. (In fact the rear sight is sourced from Canada on the Australian version)
Not Mistakenly thats a Heavy Barreled Fn FAL,With Blank Adapter.
Yo GGK and the Rest,Heads up Next month or so check in MPH For A Magazine called Combat & survival(an american or british mag) this time they are posting about airborne and amphibious 9th Royal Malay Regiment.
Yeahhh... u were right. that is the 7.62mm FN - FAL ( FN 50-00 ) or also known as SLR L1A1( australian version ). the rifle on that picture is the FN 50-41 equipped with heavy barrel and tripod. this rifle used as a support fire weapon just like the BAR or LMG HK11A1 or Minimi. FN FAL also has gas regulator mechanisme. so between SLR FN 50-00 and SLR FN 50-41 HB there's some differences.

i have suggestion ...for each week, we post pictures of each regiment...for example, this week we post all the related pictures and topics about Askar Wataniah regiment and next week maybe RAMD or any regiment....i think that way, our posting will be more organized and nice to read...please give feedback to my suggestion....
yeahhh... i agree. we make theme week or month. this week/month RAMD next week/month Paskal etc... and then we make a huge photo album filled up with all the pics we sent. how's that?
