    when the pilot is ready, it will be send back to be fitted with the remaining gadget.

    Perhaps...
    I guess it started with Blue Thunder & then followed by Airwolf. The part that I liked most is the Dauphin's fenestron tail rotor.

    Originally MLRS was the name of a specific model (the American M270 MLRS), but today it is used for all vehicles of this class. MRL and MBRL are just alternative names.

    MRL probably russian term & MRLS is an American term. that's what i think.
