IMHO Royal Malaysian Armed Forces is one of the best jungle forces, just becos they have to fight the communist insurgents until 1989.they have vast experinces in CIW.Indonesians r much respected forces is becos of it's genius ideas in executing their mission. For an eg. there was once the Indonesians Anti-Riot Units came to exchange their experinces with the M.Forces, they have one kinda weird tactics which the M.Forces would drop their jaws...a 400c.c scrambler motobike with a pillon rifleman behind to do their job...WoW...u sure don't see that kinda unit here. The PASKAL was trained by the Indonesians counterpart in Surabaya.IMO Filipinos special forces would be highly commended..not only until today they still fight the communist, they also have to face the revolutions, islamic factions, abu sayaf,Moros,etc.etc...very experince forces but very ill-equipped.Most of their weapons r made at the pinoys backyard.I ve a couple of frens from the PSG,WoW...these guys r great warriors.IMHO i would rate the Pinoys to be the 1st,follows by Indonesians, malaysian the 3rd...Thais ve much more to learn from their recents failed strategy. All these r just my personal opinion.![]()
One more things also got to know...buying of battle-rifles ve something got to do with politics...even when the army research units recommends against that particular weapons. Those days there was this Colts & Hk co. bidding for the battle rifle, ended up the US sabotaj the whole deals by selling the US 5.56 version which dirt cheap...ended couldn't feed properly with the German machines...and the final tender was awarded to the US.What a bummer....There r always someone who win these tender purchase ve something to do with political figures...Sigh...![]()
