Default I need help getting in contact with some veterans, anyone here who can help?

i've allways liked to write, though i've never done much about it.
But now i'd like to really do something about it, and i'm starting BIG.

But i can't do it on my own. I know MP.net has a lot of members from many nations, and i'd like to recruit some of you.

I'd like to get a hold of individual stories of veterans from the Campaign in Norway, 1940. This includes British, Norwegian, French, Polish and Germans who served in Norway between April 9th and June 10th 1940.

A (as far as i can tell) complete Order Of Battle for the Allies and Germans can be seen here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegi..._battle#Allied

If there is any of you who knows anyone who served in Norway, i would love to hear from you. send me a PM, mail me or just simply post here.

No, but maybe someone's got relatives that were there.

Or, if that's not an option, i know we've got members of all the aforementioned nations, and maybe they know of ways to contact veterans\veterans associations in their respective countrys.

My great grandfather was fought at Narvik, but he is dead now and i don't know much about him as he never spoke about it.

I do however know the email to the leader of the "Bordgemeinschaft Schlachtshiff Tirpitz". The ship was not here during the time you requested, but you might find his story interresting. I will PM it to you if you wish.

I'd imagine that most of the units involved have a unit/veterans association. I'd just google for them and see if you can find contact information or information about reunions and such.

I'd also check some of the various WW2 related forums. One that might be good is at http://www.ww2talk.com/

It's a great forum and the posters are predominately european. Some of them may be able to put you in contact with veteran associations for the units you're looking for.
