    Aimpoints... was this pic taken just before the EOTech came in fashion ?

    Some units have been using aimpoints since the 1980s. Regardless, fashion has little to do with it. These guys are professionals and frequently aren't into whatever the newest, coolest thing is, unlike internet/range/airsoft commandos.

    I've used the aimpoint M2 on deployment and have never had the issues so many people claim to have. Never lost zero, never broke the damned thing while on patrol or on mission, etc. I've since switched over to the ACOG because that's what the Army has given me to use in the environment we fight in now, but I would have no heartburn over going back to the Aimpoint if the need arose.

    Sure, but I was speaking of "fashion" because on the photos taken at Tora Bora, all Delta use EOTechs. On the above picture, no EOTech, but the home-made forward grip and buttpad are similar to later photos, so I guess that this photo was taken only some years before.

    Actually the picture was taken in 2003 during Iraq invasion.

    the front guy who was part of gen. Schwarzkopf's PSD, was fondly named The accountant for his neat & tidy clerkish look
