I'm a runner. Do a little bit of biking, but more for when I don't feel like running, and the weather is nice enough to go sight seeing. Minneapolis is pretty good for running. Lots of parks and the like. Avoid downtown, the degenerates are in droves wandering.

I don't like biking in the gym...my parents gave away the bike we had to my brother who got his license suspended...so what I was using for cross training doesn't exist. I'll get a new one this summer. I don't know what constitutes being a runner but if running upwards of 20 miles per week then yeah you can throw me in that group.

That's the thing about running. There is not "minimum miles required" If you run/jog regularly, you are a runner. Whether it be 1 mile every other day to marathon training, you are still a runner. I range from 28 to 40 a week, depending on how I feel.

I´m planning a 35km march this weekend, if it´s not raining (severely), of course; what weight should I carry to make it worth the effort ?
    (ps: mostly flat terrain)
